Overview
The Field Application Engineer need to service multiple accounts and co-work with account manager to meet business target of each account. He/she should take their own responsibility and work independently. He/she should approach new opportunities and solve all engineering issue during design activities. Professional knowledge of connector/cable is necessary, and he/she also need to have capability to understand customer system. He/she need to team work with account manager and internal team to ensure the success of business. He/she also need to solve engineering issue after project goes mass production. He/she also need to have presentation skill to introduce product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Teamwork with account manager to design win TE product in customer system
- Work directly with customer to resolve technical issues including Server, Storage, Networking, IPC and computer peripherals product
- Track, respond and manage customer's technical inquiries
- Make communication between customer engineer and internal engineering team
- Technical Seminar/Product promotion & training for customers
- Create new concept and proposal for customers
- Develop and maintain professional relationship with customers
Qualifications
- Experience with one of following criterion:
- FAE experience at least 3 years
- Connector design experience at least 3 years
- Server, Storage, Networking product design experience at least 3 years
- 2D/3D CAD skill is required.
- Ability to speak a technical and a business language.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
- Fluent English skill for both writing and speaking.
- Good computer and project management skills.
