Job Overview

Die F&E/Produktentwicklungs-Technikerteams von TE Connectivity konzipieren Ideen für neue Produkte und führen sie in die Praxis ein. Sie sind für die Produktentwicklung und -qualifikation von der Marktdefinition bis zur Fertigung und Freigabe verantwortlich; sie unterstützen die Qualifizierung von Lieferanten für neue Produkte, um zu gewährleisten, dass die Lieferanten hochwertige Teile, Materialien und Dienstleistungen für neue oder verbesserte Fertigungsprozesse liefern; sie führen Machbarkeitsstudien sowie Tests an neuen und geänderten Konstruktionen durch; sie leiten und unterstützen die Ausführungsplanung, Erprobung, Prototypherstellung und den Fertigungsanlauf. Die F&E/Produktentwicklungs-Technikerteams erstellen die vollständige Produktdokumentation einschließlich, jedoch nicht beschränkt auf, Volumenmodell, 2D/3D Produktionszeichnungen, Produktspezifikationen und Prüfungsanforderungen. Sie erstellen und ändern detaillierte Zeichnungen und Entwürfe oder Konzeptmodelle aufgrund von Layouts, Skizzen oder Notizen und tragen zu Konstruktionsänderungen bei zur Unterstützung des Fertigungsbetriebs oder der Produktqualität. Typische Kompetenzfelder sind: Material, Mechanik und Systeme, Elektrik, Optik, Chemie, Software, Automationssysteme, Verpackung, Prüfung und Messung sowie die Fertigung elektrischer, mechanischer und elektronischer Komponenten, Produkte und deren Integration in Systeme.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Tasks

  • Devolopment of electronical signal processing concept for high integrated or embedded μC electronic systems  
  • Development of „mix-signal“ electronics units in safety applications
  • Hardware Design, conduction of simulations and guide PCB-Layouts with using ECAD-Tools (Altium Designer, Matlab etc.)
  • Execution of functional verification with electronical measurements addition special automotive EMV-validations
  • Completation of technical documentations including specifications of the electronic designs, test specification, BOMs, material specifications, evaluation reports etc.
  • Navigation of activities related to electronical Hardware-Integration for new products and on-going programs
  • Responsible extended core team member (Expert) in a cross-functional project team of TE LEANPD-development process


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Electronic- or Communications Engineering or similar
  • solid knowledge in engineering of automotive industry „mix signal“ electronics
  • relevant competences about circuit diagram, PCB layout and circuit simulations
  • Designing with E-CAD Tool: Altium or similar systems
  • Knowledge about analog and digital design, signal integrity EMI and ESD
  • Experience in power electronic, communication application, metrology and test procedure
  • Knowledge in hardware (SMD, PCB, μC)
  • basic experience in embedded μC system programming
  • knowledge of risk assessment methods (FMEA)
  • very good communications skill in german and english
