Cómo debería ser tu experiencia:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic injection mold maintenance, repair, and improvement.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading technical teams within a Mold Shop environment.
Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and mold technologies, including Hot Runner, Valve Gate, and multicavity molds.
Experience with TPM programs, preventive maintenance planning, and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with maintenance management systems (SAP PM preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Intermediate to advanced English communication skills preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead daily Mold Shop operations while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, TPM, and 5S standards.
Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to maximize mold availability.
Prioritize mold repairs and maintenance based on production requirements.
Manage manpower, tooling, spare parts, and shop resources efficiently.
Monitor mold performance and investigate failures using root cause analysis techniques.
Track and improve key performance indicators such as Mold Availability, TPM Compliance, MTTR, MTBF, Scrap Reduction, and Schedule Attainment.
Develop technical and leadership skills within the Mold Shop team through coaching and training.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, scrap, and maintenance costs.
Support engineering changes, new mold launches, and other strategic manufacturing projects.
Ensure operational readiness and provide technical support during critical production situations when required.
