Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Tax Teams develop and implement systems to compile information for various federal, state, and local reports. They ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns. They assess tax implications surrounding pending mergers and acquisitions. The Tax Teams recommend ways to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. They may administer international tax laws and regulations and also audit financial records to determine tax liability.

What your background should look like:

As a Tax Analyst, will be a key member of APAC controlling team:

    Acting as tax liaison officer for the APAC controlling and regional tax on certain corporate income tax and other tax related matters (exclude China);
    Identify risks and opportunities and potential areas for improvement of the tax related matters.
    The successful candidate must be able to achieve results through influence and maintain good working relationships across the APAC region.


Key responsibilities:

    Drive the corporate income tax related process, ensuring that it is timely and of appropriate quality within the APAC region.
    Continue to develop of processes by proactively monitoring the filing schedule, internal process, external deadline. Establish accountability and enable transparency on corporate income tax and income tax related matters.
    Serve as a proactive tax business partner to APAC controlling management team by providing timely and clearly feedback on tax matters.
    Provide training related to corporate income tax tools.
    Assist with as hoc strategic and continues improve projects.

Qualifications:
    5 years’ experience in an international tax or TP role.
    Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Finance, business or economics. 
    Fluent in English required (both written and speaking)
    Big 4 experience is a plus.
    Capable of working independently, comfortable to work in a fast-paced.
