ROLE OBJECTIVE

This position is responsible for end-to-end Product Development projects leading cross functional team with KPI’s as Launch on Time, Budget, Cost & Quality.

MUST HAVE

  • People leading experience and prefer globally.
  • Extensive experience in Gate process in Product development, project planning & execution, Stakeholder management, requirement management
  • Experience in management strategies and good project management mindset.
  • Extensive experience in Leading teams to success, collaborate across boundaries, track results, and develop Communication and responsibility matrix.
  • Good presentation and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English with good verbal and written communications skills, ability to communicate Globally at all levels internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and MS office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in project ROI analysis (NPV, IRR, Payback period).

 

PREFERABLE

  • Experience in Terminal and connector industry or products.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (Molding, stamping, plating).
  • Certified PMP or equivalent project management certifications.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, team- oriented environment.

岗位职责与任职要求

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership & Team Development: Directly responsible for recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and performance management of all Project Manager Engineers. Fosters a high-performance culture and ensures the team has the necessary skills and certifications.
  • Project Portfolio Oversight & Governance: Provides executive oversight for the entire project portfolio. Ensures projects align with company strategy, reviews key deliverables, and enforces project management standards and methodologies.
  • Resource Management & Allocation: Optimizes the allocation of Project Managers and project resources across multiple, concurrent global projects. Balances workload, manages capacity planning, and resolves resource conflicts.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Relationship Management: Acts as a key point of contact for senior leadership and major internal/external stakeholders on project portfolio health, risks, and strategic alignment. Manages escalation pathways.
  • Process Improvement & Tool Stewardship: Continuously reviews and enhances project management processes, templates, and best practices. Oversees the selection, implementation, and effective use of project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Financial Accountability & Budget Oversight: Holds ultimate responsibility for the project management team's budget and the financial performance of projects under their purview. Reviews and approves project budgets and major financial forecasts.
  • Risk & Issue Escalation Management: Proactively monitors high-level risks and issues across the portfolio. Intervenes in critical situations, provides decision-making support to Project Managers, and ensures major impediments are resolved.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment: Champions project management principles across the organization. Collaborates with other department heads (e.g., Engineering, Sales, Finance, Operations) to ensure seamless project execution and organizational synergy.

EDUCATION & CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

  • Technical bachelor’s degree, preferably masters
  • A minimum of 8 years professional project management experience in industrial product / Hardware domain.
  • Distributed & multi-cultural global team management experience
