Production manager

We are currently seeking a new member of management for the role of Plant Manager who will oversee floor operations and ensures that overall efficiency, production quality, and employee morale are consistently upheld.
 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Coordinating with other department managers to maintain consistency and ensure production quality standards are met and upheld
  • Estimating costs and preparing budgets
  • Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Monitor production to resolve issues
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel
  • Ensure output meets quality standards
  • Make decisions regarding purchase orders, pay raises, employee requests, maintenance work, and the amount of resources needed to facilitate production practices
  • Initiate continuous improvement activities in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including IATF, EPA and EHS requirements.

Ideal prerequisites for this position:

  • Completed studies technical field.
  • 10 + years of relevant work experience and proven experience as production leader
  • Deep knowledge of production management
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Leadership abilities to mentor and coach employees and boost morale
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
  • Fluent knowledge of Slovak and English
  • Ability to work in an International environment in a Matrix Structure
