Jobübersicht

This position will support the develop and execution of the Equipment, Spares and Services (ESS) commodities strategies for the Americas region and support teammates in the creation of a best in class Global Indirect Procurement team. The qualified individual will drive the commodities strategies and team to meet the year over year key performance indicators focusing on productivity, delivery, and quality with superior customer service. The role also requires driving leading indicators such as savings pipeline and supplier reduction.

 

The Manager Sourcing Analyst will be expected to

  • Manage a professional team of sourcing analysts who are responsible for identify and manage TE Connectivity Equipment, Equipment Components, Engineering Services and Tooling requirements in the Americas Region
  • Lead a team to achieve cost savings and meet stakeholder’s requirements
  • Develop and implement Regional strategic plans which support Global strategies within the ESS group
  • Manage customer relationships, through procurement expertise, responsiveness and business understanding.
  • Provide oversight and evaluate ethical procurement practices to ensure compliance to TE Connectivity sourcing policies and procedures
  • Manage the execution of the strategy utilizing Procurement expertise in negotiation, support team with RFI/RFQ and/or processing, contract development, supplier management and other core procurement skills. Drive process automation and simplificatio
  • Utilize all tools and strategies within ESS commodities and sub-commodity groupings to drive significant savings, meeting individual, regional and global TE savings goals
  • Help continuously improve overall service of Indirect Procurement to internal customer

 

 

Position Overview:   

 

 

As a member of America’s Indirect Procurement Team in Corporate Purchasing this individual will be responsible for managing the assigned commodities and associated activities to maximize supplier performance, lead negotiations, develop strategies and deliver Extraordinary Customer Experiences (ECE) to all stakeholders and customers.

 

In conclusion, the position will be to support the development and execution of the commodity strategy and support the creation of a best in class Global Indirect Procurement team, with exemplary results. The qualified individual will drive the commodity to meet the year over year key performance indicators focusing on productivity, delivery, and quality, while driving leading indicators such as savings pipeline and reducing the number of suppliers.

Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in Purchasing/Procurement (8+ years)
  • Experienced Manager with strong methodology/strategic knowledge as well as operational/tactical know-how.
  • Background on strategic purchasing fundamentals in a global environment is beneficial (seven steps of strategic sourcing, C.P.M qualification
  • Leadership experience and strong change management / organization development skills, experience of leading a remote Organization is a plus
  • Proficient in SAP and MS office: advanced practice of Excel and PowerPoin
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial documentation and make reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Experience with third party procurement bidding and analysis tools such as Jaggaer is a plus
  • Business planning and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills.  English language skills in speech and writing
  • Ability to speak persuasively in front of a large audience which may include from management to the executive level
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, able to work well with international teams and individuals, not afraid to push for change, but humble in approach
  • Education: Bachelor level degree in Engineering, Business, Procurement, Finance or related field.  Advanced degree is a plus.
    Manufacturing technologies experience, a technical background is a plus

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,800 – 161,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
