Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams significantly impact LEANPD driven new product development projects, driving for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods and striving to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control. They act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface. They support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes. They also design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards, document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems, support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability, initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time and adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:
1.    Good knowledge at new product die part quotation, study product drawings and project requirements, responsible for stamping die spec definition and die development plan (investment, tooling schedule and equipment specifications)
熟练新产品冲压件报价, 产品图纸和项目要求, 负责制定冲压模具规格和模具开发计划 
2.    Good at knowledge and experience of large tonnage press m/c (200Ton above) and auxiliary equipment, especially for stainless steel stamping with thickness of 1.0 mm and above, good experience at stamping process and die design and cost optimization.
良好的大吨位冲压机(200吨及以上) 及辅助设备生产知识和经验, 特别是厚度为1.0mm及以上不锈钢冲压工艺,能够独立完成相关模具的设计和冲压工艺的开发, 以及成本优化
3.    Responsible for DFM for product/process/tooling in Project Development, responsible for new die design and make a reasonable schedule to meet project objectives and schedule, basic simulation knowledge. 
独立完成冲压制程的DFM(产品设计/工艺/模具设计), 独立完成冲压模具设计,制定合理的进度计划,   
以满足项目进度要求, 基础的冲压仿真知识。
4.    Responsible die issues analyzing and improvement during assembly, debugging, ramp up production, owner for tooling FOT, LVM, FAAR, CPK and RDS before mass production. 
负责模具组立调试和试产中的冲压相关问题分析和改善,负责量产前的开发工作, 试样,小批量样品制作,完成FAAR, CPK,RDS 测试和模具批准工作。
5.    Work with vendor and stamping-shop for new die issue analysis and improvement, lead key technical issues solution in die development and production process, respond quickly.
协助供应商和冲压车间进行新模具生产问题分析及对策实施,负责开发生产过程中的关键技术问题的解决,快速响应。
6.    Technical development and Challenge with a cross-functional team and various process experts.
主导和配合跨职能部门团队和各制造工序工程师完成技术研究和开发 
7.    Familiar with English, can learn quickly, be able to learn the latest technology and apply it.
熟悉英语,具有快速学习的能力,以及新技术应用和导入能力。
Qualifications:
1.    College and above degree in mechanical engineering or stamping major, 8 years engineering design related working experience, especially large Ton Metal plate progressive die independent design and production experience. 
机械工程或冲压专业专科以上,8年以上工程设计相关工作经验,有大型钣金冲压连续模 独立设计/生产经验优先。
2.    Good teamwork and communication skills with a cross functional team. 
    良好的团队合作和沟通能力。
3.    Skillful in using Auto-CAD for die design, and Pro/E, UG 3D software operate.
4.    熟练使用Auto CAD进行模具设计, 可以使用PRO/E 或UG 等3D 开发软件。
5.    Knowledgeable of quality control and quality issue analysis and improvement
具有一定的品质控制和品质问题的分析改善知识和经验。
6.    Available for travel (domestic and international), travel rate 20%~30% about 
可以根据项目需要进行国内或国际出差,出差比率预计在20%~30% 
7.    Basic English communication in written and Spoken English.
可以进行英语书面和口语的沟通交流。
