Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

What your background should look like:

JD:
1. TEOA Procedures & Assessment
    - Execute TE's TEOA procedures and systems in order to provide working guidelines and direction
    - Implement TEOA system in plant and achieve TEOA Star Level 5 assessment
2. Lead value stream transformation projects
    - Responsible for the management, analysis and optimization of the value stream
    - Responsible for the VS’s operation, like daily management of quality, delivery performance and cost 
      Saving
    - Track and improve the VS KPI to meet target
    - Define and track the progress of value stream transformation plan
- Optimize the E2E information flow and material flow, including supplier material supply, internal pull 
- Responsible for the implementation of continuous improvement / lean kaizen, achieving best in shop 
  and yearly TEBIT saving target
3. Lead Kaizen / Process Improvement Projects
- Lead continuous improvement projects (incl. 5S+1, VSM,  Standard Work, QCPC, TPM, Quick Change 
  Over, Mistake Proofing, Cell Design, Material Replenishment & Flow, 3P, 6 Sigma, etc)
    - Lead material, inventory, end to end, OEE/ efficiency improvement projects 
    - Lead and support plant level projects, and complete the targets according to plan
4. Lead Plant Material Flow
     - Lead campus traffic flow design, and work together with warehouse team on material receiving & 
      supply balancing
     - Lead shop floor material flow design and optimization
     - Facilitate supermarket pull and FIFO design and implementation
5. Kaizen Culture
- Conduct kaizen activities in plant, including kaizen workshop for significant improvement on plant top 
   priorities; 
- Deliver TEOA lean trainings
6. Facilitate plant strategy workshop, goal alignment & deployment. Consolidate and release plant 
    metrics break down. Track and support strategy key plant projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above with major in Mechanical engineering / Industrial Engineering will be 
    preferred
2. Professional knowledge, skill & experience in IE/ continuous improvement/ production management / 
project management 
4. Good written and spoken English
5. Good presentation/interpersonal/ facilitation / communication/leadership skills
6. 10+ years of working experience, with 3+ people management experience
