SR MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEER (BTB,Auto)

Job Description

Summary:

Conduct tooling/fixture and equipment Design / maintenance, support MPDE team for the new product pilot run with the objective of meeting  production requirements and ensure the machine stability on production  within Engineering policies, procedures and systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Work and Drive vendors to set up/debug automation machine; Timely feedback and solve the problem to ensure the progress of the project
• Provide technical support to manufacturing during pilot run and production start-up/change over 
• Problem identification and trouble-shooting a wide range of complex mechanical problems for automation line
• Responsible for the effective communication across the company
• Line maintenance/change over together with/guiding the technicians to make sure automation machine run smoothly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation
• Minimum 5 years of experience with automated assembly machines, skilled in fixture/jig design and trouble-shooting for automation machine
• Familiar with Vision Inspection (Keyence/Cognex), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Pneumatics, sensors, motors and other motion control devices and components selection
• Robot knowledge will be a plus 
• Interfacing knowledge between mechanical and electrical
• Familiar with Pro-E or SolidWorks, AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D drawing
• Proven strong analytical and problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills. 
• English skills, able to ready technical materials in English
