Job Overview

Apply the Group's EHS policy and procedures to site managers and employees, and implement the actions required to achieve the Group's objectives.
Implement this policy and ensure compliance with legal obligations in terms of health, safety and the environment.  
Focus its actions on the prevention of health, safety and environmental risks for employees and stakeholders.

Tasks and activities

- Support and implement the Group's EHS policy for the site.
- Enforce Group procedures and draft French procedures where necessary.
- Update and optimize EHS management systems (manual, procedures, operational documents, dashboards, indicators, continuous improvement, audits, etc.).
- Monitor EHS regulations for site activities and ensure compliance.
- Interface with local authorities.
- Interact with external bodies and complete the various regulatory declarations.
- Support site teams in implementing EHS objectives and action plans.
- Carry out EHS certification audits, TE Connectivity audits, customer audits, based on internal or external standards.
- Contribute to the achievement of zero accidents on site by defining and implementing preventive and/or corrective actions.
- Contribute to CSSCT meetings and present the required information, and oversee the implementation of actions decided at these meetings.
- Organize and deliver safety and environmental awareness and training programs for personnel.
- In collaboration with the training department, plan mandatory regulatory training courses.
- Organize periodic medical check-ups.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the site's EHS regulatory compliance.
Responsible for EHS operations and results in activities under his/her responsibility.
Autonomy in decision-making within his/her scope of activity, in accordance with Management/BU approvals.

Specific Professional Knowledge

- Preferably a Master's degree with a specialization in EHS.
- Experience in implementing and monitoring an EHS approach.
- Mastery of EHS standards and regulations. 
- Sound knowledge of the standards associated with the site's EHS certifications.
- Mastery of IT tools.
- Experience in steering action plans and managing projects.
- Design and conduct meetings and training sessions.
- Fluency in English.
