12 Month Intern Material Engineers in Munich starting August 2022

 TE Connectivity offers an Undergraduate Intern Program with the Energy R&D Materials Group based at the German Head Office in Ottobrunn/Munich.

This role is very hands-on and will involve different aspects of material science & engineering work within engaged development groups, active in the development of elastomeric compounds and heat-shrinkable materials for the power industry.  These groups also support the manufacture of Energy materials and products made on site or in other European manufacturing locations.

What your background should look like:

  • Undergraduates who have completed 2 years of relevant material science / engineering or chemistry course with materials modules
  • 3 or more science / engineering based A/AS levels. (A-C grades)
  • Lab experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
  • Hands-on-Mentality
  • Good all round communication skills and the ability to integrate well into a multi-disciplined team are essential
  • Basic German Skills would be an advantage, but ist not essential
