Job Overview:

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily monitoring, coaching and development of employees within your department (including annual career interviews).
  • Recruit new employees and monitor the knowledge level of the repair group
  • Coordinate the work planning for repairs, optimisations and maintenance in the short, medium and long term, taking into account the capacity and knowledge in and outside your team. You do this in consultation with the tactical team (supervisors, coach, QA and logistics). Determine/monitor the need for external interventions
  • Follow up preventive maintenance schedules
  • Responsible for drawing up and following up spares in the database, in consultation with MQE, PSE and the responsible mechanics/electricians
  • In the event of escalations, you take the necessary actions in good time
  • Monitor the state of the machinery and, where necessary, respond to requests for renovation. Together with MQE and mechanics, you ensure that improvement proposals are converted into actions and monitored in action lists (PIM, TPM, Dmaic, etc.)
  • Help define the vision on standardisation within the department and actively contribute to its implementation
  • Support the implementation of TEOA within the department and monitor the various KPIs
  • Responsible for annual safety training within the department. You actively contribute to the safety policy by monitoring compliance with safety standards, participating in reviews/audits and defining and implementing actions to deal with outstanding risks as quickly as possible
  • Manage the budget for repair and maintenance expenses in Molding
     

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in a technical field or are equivalent through experience
  • Good coaching skills 
  • Technical all-rounder, with knowledge of moulding, electricity, mechanics and pneumatics 
  • In the context of a smooth information and knowledge transfer, flexible in terms of working hours
  • Fluent communicator, both to employees, colleagues and managers
  • Work in a structured way, a go-getter, and like to think out-of-the box
  • Take decisions independently, driven, results-oriented and deal smoothly with (organisational) changes
  • Fluent Dutch and English, German is a plus
