Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 – 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.  

The Industrial Business Unit – Precision Power Solutions is seeking a candidate for a Summer Sales and Marketing Intern. This position reports to the Global Product Manager and will be located in Mundelein, IL

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assistance, with the aid of engineering, with developing a competitive comparison for EMI Filters
  • Building on the comparison, creating a competitive cross-reference that will be used as a sales tool
  • Analyze and create customer profiles of the NA market based on product type purchase and customer Industry code
  • Wok with the Marcom team to update existing marketing collateral to meet current TE brand guidelines

 

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program, Business or Marketing Majors
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship

 

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

  • Beginner level knowledge of Pivot Tables
  • Novice level knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-Starter
