Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

 

The Aerospace, Defense and Marine (AD&M) Business Unit of TE Connectivity is part of the Industrial Solutions segment and is a world leader in the design of components and electrical interconnection solutions that are used for applications in extreme environments. These interconnection solutions make possible applications of avionics, jet and propulsion engine management , flight controls, grounding systems and on-board entertainment for today’s ‘connected aircraft’. This capability is extended to military, marine, aviation, space, land and drone vehicles as well oil and gas exploration of open-ocean deposits.

 

Job overview and responsibilities

 

As a member of the AD&M Finance team, you will be supporting the Mt. Joy (Rt. 230 and Rapho park) controller to drive strong cost controls and opportunities for operational efficiencies. The financial analyst will also collaborate with other AD&M finance team members, finance share service and Mt. Joy operations team to achieve plant financial objectives.

 

•    Operational Finance Support and financial analytics
•    Work with operational partners to ensure accurate standard costs are maintained for all products manufactured
•    Perform analysis and reporting on Inventory, WO variances, Standards Analysis, PPV, and Subcontracts.
•    Analyze plant  spend, KPI and monitoring
•    Support plant controller in establishing budget & forecast
•    Perform tasks in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and accounting policies to maintain a strong control environment for inventories, fixed assets, capital, and other areas
•    Review and approve savings projects and monitor achievement
•    Lead asset management, asset transfer efforts, and inventory accuracy
•    Support plant TEOA projects

 

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
•    3+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
•    Exposure to costing fundamentals
•    Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
•    A forward-thinking, energetic leader who demonstrates diversity in their experience and is a strategy business partner
•    Experience in SAP preferred
•    Exhibits a compelling drive for accomplishing goals with a strong sense of urgency
