Job description:

  • Takes phone calls from external and internal customers about technical questions for TE Application Tooling Equipment.
  • Operates the Field Service hotline and the TAC (Tooling Assistance Center) email boxes.
  • Analyses and resolves reported problems on TE Application Tooling equipment and products.
  • Works closely with Sales/Service team, Engineering, Quality and Product Management.
  • Performs basic customer trainings on TE Application Tooling equipment and technologies to internal and external customers.
  • Analyse and evaluate simple warranty topics on customer equipment. Determines if defective and recommends corrective action. 
  • Supports the inside sales team by close cooperation with area managers to increase TE’s business overall. Promotes AT tooling by making new equipment and service offering recommendations.
  • Prepares and submits complete, accurate and timely reports about activities.
  • Uses available communication and remote support tools like Salesforce, Helplightning, Teams etc. 



  • Ability to analyze and fix the problem
  • Good communication skills 
  • PC and MS Office knowledge 
  • English as well as German on a B2 level (oral and written) 
  • Experience in the technical service team preferred
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural, international team
  • Degree in an Electrical or Mechatronic field as an advantage
  • Basic PLC Knowledge, mechanical skills, basics in Pneumatic and Hydraulic would be an asset
