BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (Remote, 5pm to 2am PH time)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Business Intelligence Teams are responsible for the processing, mining and delivery of data to their customer community through repositories, tools and services.

Collects& defines Business Requirements and Uses a variety of standard and advanced techniques in the elicitation, analysis, documentation and management of requirements.

Person is accountable for providing detailed analysis about the anomaly of the key Performance Indicators. Building and managing smarter solutions including predictive models using existing tools for better managing business processes.
 

Job Responsibilities

Data Science/Data Analysis

• Responsible for the processing, mining and delivery of data to their customer community through repositories, tools and services
• Design Summary, Detail and Dashboard reports and management summaries which present data findings in a professional, concise and readable format appropriate for content and audience.
• Solve ad-hoc requirement of Management related to data for critical decision making
• Identify and reconcile errors in data to ensure the accuracy of the data before publishing the KPI to stakeholders
• Creating dashboards, analytics, visualizations, and insights that guide leadership-decision making
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative business data to develop a solution design capable of fulfilling the customer's need.
• Accountable for providing detailed analysis for set of Key Performance Indicators.

Business Processes/ Project Management

• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solution.
• Own on-time, accurate, quality analysis and reports/visualizations in tight alignment with specified project objectives.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and knowledge sharing to more junior staff when appropriate.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working under tight time constraints.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical discipline.
• 1+ years of experience ML/AI, statistical forecasting, statistical testing, regression, etc 
• Experience in Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data from databases, Good Hands on Alteryx, SQL Server database Creation knowledge
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in business intelligence and in configuring, designing, building visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and other BI tools (Business Objects, Tableau, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office 365 & PowerPoint.
• Excellent hands-on experience with Tableau Dashboard, Tableau Server and understand the data warehouse concepts.
• Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadline
• Self-motivated, ability to prioritize work and multi-task across many assignments in a fast-paced work environment
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modelling, and working with “Big Data”.
• Experience in Database Management Systems (DBMS), SQL queries
• Experience in CRM tools. Experience in Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Good knowledge on any one of these data analytics tools: R, Python, Alteryx etc.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and R Exceptional analytical skills; the ability to see patterns and trend in an unstructured data, analysing data with strong statistical, quantitative modelling, and forecasting skills
• In-depth understanding and application of statistical models, algorithms and/or machine learning techniques
• Clear communicator who can summarize, write, speak and present confidently to a diverse audience, including senior management – operating as an internal consultant and thought partner.
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment with regional and global team members.
