Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Plating Teams operate assigned automated plating machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

  • Operate and adjust plating lines, Plating Operator III employees are asked to set up plating lines
  • Perform quality checks of products and assure good product
  • Load change reels
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Must possess the ability to coordinate and move product from one department to another
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling devices

What your background should look like:

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 44 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to carry a minimum weight of 44 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to push a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to pull a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably
  • Constant standing and frequent walking is required in this job

Educational Requirements:

  • Must be in current position for one year without incurring a documented procedural error or written warning
  • Knowledge of plating processes and production lines preferred
  • Basic arithmetic and the ability to work with alpha-numeric part numbers
  • Basic knowledge of Plating and reeling process
  • Full time employees must not have a documented procedural error
  • Ideal candidates would have successfully completed one year of experience as a Plating Operator III or have previous plating experience equivalent to the current open position
  • Would consider potential candidates with a background in materials, reeling, cut-off / assembly machines, heat treat and stress relieving process.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $45,360 - 68,040 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
