WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN:
The Project/R&D engineer will be responsible for development of cable assy products from RFQ up to serial production.
YOUR MAIN TASKS:
- Clarification of all product requirements in cooperation with sales / marketing and the customer, fixation of design goals
- Preparation of manufacturing concepts in cooperation with manufacturing, manufacturing engineering and quality department (alternative, innovative concepts)
- Preparation of preliminary process flow chart and BOM
- Preparation of feasibility studies
- Support of quotation preparation
- Coordination of sample manufacturing
- ECO function, product responsibility
- Definition of product, final BOM
- Initiate and perform design reviews
- Support with preparation of a project plan with all relevant milestones in cooperation with project manager and marketing
- Preparation of P- and C-drawing, specifications
- Support of documentation preparation, e.g. process flow chart, P-FMEA, control plan and capability studies
- Coordination of product and process validation
- Support of PPAP, ISIR preparation
- Technical support for customer audits
- Management of product changes (revision changes) and new product variants
- Support quality department to work on customer complaints
- Participation on cost improvement workshops
- Manage tasks/documentations inside TE Planisware
YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:
- University degree in el. or mechanical engineering preferred
- Relevant work experience
- Knowledge of any of these: TS 16949, QS 9000, design of cable assy products, electrical engineering, PFMEA
- Skills in cable assy process technics
- MS office – common user knowledge
- Level of English language - B2
