ROLE SUMMARY
• Responsible for design optimization, selection, procurement, installation and commissioning of production equipment.
• Lead equipment layout planning to ensure equipment adapts to production needs, improving equipment operation efficiency.
• Establish equipment operation and maintenance system, formulate daily maintenance and inspection plans; regularly conduct equipment fault diagnosis and repair, reducing equipment failure rate and minimizing downtime losses.
• Cooperate with equipment suppliers to follow up after-sales maintenance; optimize equipment consumable procurement plan to control equipment costs reasonably.
• Implement full- process quality control and management, conduct equipment precision calibration and parameter optimization regularly to ensure product quality meets standards.
• Lead the construction of new product production lines in the new factory, coordinate equipment supporting, debugging and commissioning work, ensure the production lines are put into operation smoothly and efficiently.
• Establish and improve equipment operation and maintenance systems, formulate daily maintenance and regular inspection plans, troubleshoot and repair equipment faults timely, reduce equipment failure rate and downtime losses.
• Cooperate with suppliers to follow up equipment after-sales service, optimize consumable procurement schemes, and control equipment operation and maintenance costs reasonably.
• Cooperate with cross-departments to meet production and process requirements, solve equipment-related technical problems, and ensure continuous production.
• Support the detail for project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and investment planning.
• Project planning and strategic planning that align with the business objectives for project implementations.
• Maintain industry, technical, application knowledge and other skills to increase personal effectiveness.
• Identifying efficiency opportunities for high-quality production processes.
• Providing training and guidance to Process engineers and production teams.
• Collaboration with procurement and suppliers to enable technology integration and ensure delivery schedules to meet deadlines.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation for new products and processes.
• Adapt to frequent business trips, with strong communication and coordination ability, sense of responsibility and pressure resistance
• Support the technical team during the startup and ramp up production lines in the home country and abroad, with significant time spent in business trips. This activity may require temporary relocation to a foreign country.
EXPERIENCE
• More than 5 years of relevant work experience in equipment design, procurement, installation, operation and maintenance in manufacturing industry; experience in new production line construction is preferred.
• Proficient in the structure and working principle of production equipment, with strong ability in equipment fault diagnosis and handling.
• Have strong process learning ability and quality management awareness, able to match equipment with process and ensure product quality.
• Experience with start-up of production lines from green field will be a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
• Good organizational skills with some project management experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant engineering tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
