FINANCE ANALYST III - PLANT OPERATIONS

Job Overview

Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team.

What your background should look like:

The Finance Analyst of operation will drive key financial planning and forecasting processes, including strategic, budget planning and forecasts. This position will also serve as business partner for operation team, support productivity and savings projects. The Finance Analyst will drive plant spending, support insourcing and localization projects, recosting process.  

Key responsibilities include:  

Provide Operations support, like plant daily /weekly/month reports; 

Tracker plant spending, support plant cost optimization or TOEA projects. 

Work order analyses. to review routing hours, yield rate, to reduce products cost. 

Provide PFO report for actual and forecast, work with Ops team to reduce slow moving parts. 

Master data maintain and cost release in SAP. 

Prepare annual budget. 

Standard cost maintain. 

Responsible for monthly closing, like work order, material variance check, PPV setting and analysis. 

Responsible for Rolling forecast, variance analyses between actual, budget and forecast. 

Submit monthly reconciliation and close report. 

Other task or reporting requirements. 

Assignment: 

Support consolidation of APAC report. 

Support the case from legal entity finance or government requirement. 

Support annual assets physical count. 

Support internal and external audit. 

Support new project cost simulation, like Make vs buy, insourcing and localization projects. 

Load ACOPSCOP report to HFM system. 

Drive productivity or CIP savings projects. 

Can identify the waste in the daily production.  

Requirements 

Bachelors in Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA or ACCA) 

Above 3+ years' work in manufacturing. 

Above 5+ years' experience in costing accountant or finance analysis. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Financial/ERP system (SAP, Hyperion, TED 2.0) 

Plant costing knowledge is basic, understand breakeven point.
