Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician with specialization in Controls and Electronics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as with a team of technicians and engineers. 


Key Responsibilities:
- Install, wire, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electronic devices and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical circuits and systems
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Exceptional understanding of power distribution and machine safety circuits

 

What your background should look like:

- Experience with industrial control systems and PLCs
- 4+ years of experience in electronics repair and maintenance
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and systems
- Proficiency with hand tools and test equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to connect to serial and ethernet control systems
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 - Associates degree in Electronics or related field 
- Certification in electronics repair (e.g. CET)
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Working knowledge of Stamping and Injection Molding presses

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $59,760 $74,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
