Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

1. Review, registration and monitoring of the dispatch and crossing of all daily export units. It checks that all scheduled export units from both warehouses have been shipped on time and constantly monitors the status of the units, ensuring that everything passes on time and that no documents are needed from GLOG.
2. Constant review to ensure that there are always units placed on all export ramps in both buildings. Follow up with the carrier to comply with this point.
3. Review, verification and analysis of charges and detentions (fines) generated in daily exports.
4. Review, registration and monitoring of the dispatch and crossing of all daily import units.
5. Monitoring and review of import units pending unloading in both warehouses.
6. Review, verification and analysis of charges and detentions (fines) generated in daily imports.
7. Report and record delays and incidents with carriers or internal GLOG issues.
8. Registration of daily national shipments, as well as verification and analysis of charges and detentions (fines) generated at origin and destination.
9. Request, registration and follow-up of complaints regarding reports of damaged, missing or lost material, with carriers.
10. Registration and generation of guides in parcel portals, for shipments originating outside of HLDC, as well as the scheduling of collections.
11. Registration and scheduling of container receipt in both warehouses, as well as unloading monitoring.
12. Registration and monitoring of additional charges and verification and analysis of detentions (fines) generated in containers.
13. Track daily emails.

What your background should look like:

  • Education: Bacherlor's degree or engineering related.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in logistics preferred in distribution centers.
  • Languages: English Advanced.
