Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Tooling Teams perform the manufacturing functions related to metal working dies and tool making. They are responsible for completing all assignments to construct, modify and condition metal working dies and may fabricate new gages, cutting or forming tools and fixtures by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specifications. They perform precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions; recommend revisions in design and/or substitutions in material based on machinability or fabrication problems encountered; and solve problems relating to unusual materials, machine settings, fabrication methods, and production process. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Objetivo:

Mantener en óptimas condiciones los herramentales (troqueles) de la compañía, asegurando un mantenimiento periódico efectivo que nos ayude a generar e incrementar la producción de terminales eléctricas estampadas dentro del área de trabajo, cuidando siempre la seguridad y calidad como principales pilares de sus funciones.

Actividades diarias:

  1. Preparación de dados (Change Over)

  2. Mantenimiento preventivo

  3. Mantenimientos correctivos

  4. Realización de Set Up en prensas

  5. Soporte a producción en ajustes de troqueles

  6. Mantenimientos predictivos

  7. Mejoras a troqueles

  8. Cambios de ingeniería

Educación:

Egresados de ingeniería, mecánica, industrial, mecatrónica o afín.

Experiencia:

  • Mínima de 10 años en estampado

  • Troqueles de estampado metálico

  • Prensas de alta velocidad

  • Proceso de estampado progresivo

  • Uso de máquinas y herramientas
