Senior Shipping & Receiving/ Cycle Counts Supervisor

Job Overview

Primary Objective:

Ensure the accuracy of materials on the production floor required for manufacturing, and successfully coordinate and execute physical inventory within the plant

Responsibilities and Authority:

• Ensure compliance with inventory procedures.
• Accurately count assigned locations in AKB.
• Assist and conduct investigations to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Adopt and follow safety protocols in production areas.
• Support activities related to material purges.
• Ensure compliance with the monthly cycle count plan.
• Guarantee the accuracy of the monthly count plan.
• Lead strategy for data capture, count planning, and bin updates during the annual physical inventory.
• Follow up on critical escalations from buyers, MPS, and planners.
• Has authority over personnel decisions such as hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Authorized to stop any process that may harm the environment or violate environmental regulations.
• Authorized to determine environmental aspects and impacts of activities under their control, including products they can influence.
• Authorized to approve the necessary competencies of individuals performing tasks under their control that affect environmental performance.

Job Requirements

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Specific Knowledge and Skills:
Mentorship and team leadership
Extensive knowledge of SAP
Experience managing teams of 5 to 10 people
BOM (Bill of Materials) interpretation
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards applicable to the rol
