Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Daily activities:

1. ensure that personnel assigned to each task, activity and equipment(machine); work following safety guidelines and established methods and procedures. 
2.    Organize production priorities on hours executed vs. planned, as well as organize work flow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
3.    Identify problems in efficiency, suggest actions and establish them together with the corresponding team.
4.    Control the quality and quantity of production.
5.    Apply additional (extraordinary) production plans for customer satisfaction, taking care of the integrity of your team.
6.    Establish anti-routine exercise activities within the work area.
7.    Lead I and II level meetings on the floor.
8.    Ensure the correct payment of payroll (TRESS).
9.    Ensure TPM compliance in all areas.
10.    Lead the execution and analysis of weekly WIP inventories.
11.    Lead production order control (FIFO, avoid WIP age orders, etc.).
12.    Ensure daily scrap disposal
13.    Lead the correct follow-up of OEE and corrective actions.

Periodic activities:

Coordinate and lead KPI meeting to inform operational staff 2.
2.    Lead go-meeting in support of line managers and outreach to staff on the floor.
3.    Monthly Ethics Talks
4.    Official analysis and reporting for monthly bonus payments (critical operations, productivity).
5.    Lead meetings for analysis of OEE results and follow up on actions of major impact.
6.    Lead general meetings (Safety, 5Ss, Quality, Flow, etc.).
7.    Ensure the correct control of salt spray - Plating reports.
8.    Enforce company standards and safety guidelines strictly.
9.    Encourage the generation of ideas in the TEOA system and the implementation of these.
10.    Evaluate the performance of the workers under his/her charge and make a report to make appropriate decisions regarding the personnel carrying out production activities.
11.    Develop plans to be carried out and validated in order to continuously improve the rate of accidents, illnesses, disabilities or deaths in the work area.
12.    Audit training matrix to ensure it is up to date.

Eventual activities:

1. Ensure that the collaborators in charge have the necessary competence so that they know, are able and willing to perform the activities correctly from the beginning and thus avoid waste.
