Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

What your background should look like:

Key responsibilities
•    Monitor and drive end to end supply chain performance efficiency and excellency for Manufacturing sites assigned. Work on Demand analysis; Supply reliability, flexibility, and agility; Inventory efficiency.
•    Coordinate with plant operations to analyze and recommend long range capacity solutions to proactively satisfy potential supply constraints before they impact the plant and customers.
•    Assist Master Schedulers in using advanced planning systems to optimize customer delivery and inventory performance.
•    Collaborate with  global counterparts to analyze & improve the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain process
•    Identify and lead strategic supply chain projects related to supply chain optimization and footprint moves.
•    Monitor & report on supply chain KPI’s and drive actions to close any gaps
•    Monitor the progress of orders from Performance Materials in terms of quantity and shipping timeliness.
•    Working with inventory level targets. Review procedures, such as distribution or inventory management, to ensure maximum efficiency or minimum cost.
•    Support the Supply Chain team with data entry and processing.
•    Monitor scheduled orders accuracy to drive improvement of std work
•    Manage day-to-day operational coordination and escalations, exception / performance management

What your background should look like:
•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
•    More than 3 years of experience in Supply Chain within production planning/purchasing/procurement
•    Expertise in Computer skills (SAP R/3, MS Excel, Power Point, and Word).  IBP experience highly desired
•    Excel skills is required to support reporting and analytics requirements
•   General knowledge about electronic parts such as connectors and sensors.
•   Understanding of Lean Concepts (Standard Work, Visual Management, KanBan, 5S, etc.)
