SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER III

Job Overview

In this role, your main responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and lean leadership to TE Connectivity’s Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) supply base. In addition, to implement a well-documented continuous quality improvement process, strict process controls and efficient, lean manufacturing with ICT’s supply base. This will be used for the evaluation and development of new and existing suppliers worldwide, to maximizing Quality, Cost, Logistics, Delivery, and Management (QCLDM) within the supply network.

What your background should look like:

Educational Degree    
    Bachelor (preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering), Master’s degree is a plus, or equivalent

Professional Experience             
o    At least 5-7 years of experience in Quality, Continuous Improvement, Lean manufacturing, or Supplier Quality / Development 
o    Experience in the Automotive Industry
o    Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor is a plus 
o    Certified IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 Auditor is a plus
o    Strong background in LEAN Manufacturing Principles  
    travel required 50%+ depending on needs; international travel as well
