Main Target of the Regional Sourcing Analyst is strategic and tactical support to Global Sourcing Manager for Actives & Passives & Magnets & EM. This position will support a global spend of Semiconductors $170M). This position will be the key focus for to drive and meet KPI for the Americas region and help develop should cost model with Business Unit. The person will support the implementation of global commodity strategy and drive to meet the KPI including productivity, delivery, quality, multi-source, payment terms, VMI, Localization and compliance. The person will be developing saving pipeline, low-cost region suppliers, supplier optimization and lead time reduction. The person aligns strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. He/she executes the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for commodities assigned collaborating across Business Units and across-regions for optimal TE leverage.
Responsabilités et Qualifications
Roles & Responsibilities:
The role requires ability to effectively collaborate to develop strategy, preferred supplier alignment and drive execution across the Actives/Passives/Magnets/EM commodities, and suppliers in the region. The ideal candidate will have the desire and drive for upward mobility and exhibit the required values, performance, and behaviors to enable such.
- Drive innovation sourcing and supplier strategic relationship management
- Complete the Actives/Passives/Magnets/EM Consolidation Strategy to promote preferred TE Suppliers and leveraging regional and global volumes.
- Accountable for achieving annual goals for assigned KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, supplier consolidation, multi-source, VMI, Days to Pay, localisation and product compliance on the regional spend of Actives/Passives/Magnets/EM
- Ensure a sustainable pipeline of material productivity initiatives for the business unit/region
- Capture the needs of all BUs and fulfil the expectations in commodity related KPIs and service level of internal customers.
- Ensure suppliers are compliant to global and regional regulatory or legal requirements (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, etc.).
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with selected, high-critical set of key suppliers
- Drive supplier development and performance improvement to meet KPIs and BU technology needs
- Implement should cost model and fact-based negotiations
- Understand the regional BU business needs and ensure regional alignment to the global commodity strategies
- Be the escalation point for all supply base issues or opportunities
- Drive improvements in the Americas supply base in collaboration with BU functions, Procurement, Quality, Supplier Development, etc, special focus on Actives/Passives/Magnets/EM supply base by leading key initiatives
- Leading the Pre-Sourcing Cross functional Alignment for the Americas
- Leading the Global Multi sourcing initiative for the Americas, across all BU
Requirements
Educational Degree
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- MBA is a plus
Professional Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in global electronic company and procurement experience
- Ideally Procurement, Semi-conductors' experiences
Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Semiconductors manufacturing processes and cost drivers
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
- Experience in commodity/material market tracking and analysis
- Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task

- Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitude

- Have knowledge of direct purchasing and technical aspect of commodities
- Very Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, must be a critical thinker
- Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Time zone flexibility and ability to travel ( 20% mainly regional).
