Jobübersicht

The Quality Engineer II is responsible for ensuring product and process quality during new product introductions by leading quality planning activities, process validations, risk assessments, and launch readiness reviews. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to support successful product launches and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

Was Sie mitbringen sollten:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Experience in technical problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Background in continuous improvement and scrap reduction initiatives.
  • Experience managing engineering changes and technical documentation.
  • Participation in new product introductions (NPI) and process improvement projects.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans.
  • SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience with process validation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cable manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

New Product Introduction & Quality Planning

  • Coordinate quality activities for new product introductions (NPI).
  • Lead APQP and PPAP activities.
  • Participate in design reviews and launch readiness assessments.
  • Monitor launch quality metrics and drive corrective actions.

Process Validation & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and maintain PFMEAs and Control Plans.
  • Perform SPC, MSA, and process capability studies.
  • Coordinate product and process validations.
  • Manage non-conformances and corrective actions.

Audits & Continuous Improvement

  • Support customer and internal audits.
  • Drive quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support engineering change management (ECN) activities.
  • Participate in product transfers and manufacturing transitions.
