Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

What your background should look like:

Qualifications 
•    Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field. 
•    Proficient in conversational, reading and writing English
•    3-5 years of experience in an EHS role or in a supporting role within an EHS team, Internal Safety program/campaign or other closely related positions supporting a Safety/EHS team.
•    Experience in Manufacturing role prefered

Job Responsibilities
•    Compilation and reporting of EHS performance data using a variety of techniques ranging from simple data aggregation to importing data from a variety of global sources.   
•    Provide analytics, support, processing, and distribution on leading and lagging KPIs. 
•    Collect, organize, monitor, and evaluate operational and performance data through automated reporting and regular communication.
•    Perform data analysis to determine current performance and forecast future performance. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and other required analyses on EHS activity.
•    Attend regular meetings with the BU EHS team, record notes and follow-up on key issues. Assist BU EHS team with special projects and initiatives and provide status reports as required.
•    Perform other duties to support business needs.

Key Requirements
•    Management systems administration skills and effective project management
•    Excellent qualitative and quantitative abilities as well as strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Strong proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) to perform calculations, create pivot tables, use financial and logical formulas, visualize data, and organize and format for presentation.
•    Able to maintain relationships with multiple EHS teams in collaboration to gather and track progress and status on EHS initiatives. 
•    Highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
•    Computer skills, including proficiency in using common word processing software, excel, database applications, presentation software, and email.
•    Ability to present and speak in public.
