Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


The Stamping Lab Inspector II will report to the Stamping Department. Thechosen candidate must know how to use gages, microscopes, RAM-OPTIC and other inspection equipment. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and assist in training as it pertains to the inspection process. Engages in monthly quality and safety audits and assists in conducting gage R&R and capability studies. The Stamping Lab Inspector II must also be able to accurately record quality findings through a variety of quality systems.





  • Must have the ability to perform visual, functional and dimensional inspections using product drawings, inspection plans and inspection equipment
  • Conducts general housekeeping in work area, thus maintaining 5S+1standards
  • Engages in safety and quality audits
  • Assists in conducting gage R&R and capability studies
  • Assists in training as it pertains to the inspection process
  • Performs other duties as required


  • HS diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in a stamping manufacturing environment preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Stamping Lab Inspector preferred
  • Prior stamping manufacturing experience in a quality role preferred
  • Possess ability to read blueprints
  • Proficient in use of gages
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – (emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team, required
  • Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to successfully accomplish job
  • Must demonstrate motivation and accountability
  • Must work well independently and have the aptitude for attention to detail
  • Must be willing to learn adapt and change
