Job Overview

The Product Builder will be responsible for manufacturing products in compliance with standard operating procedures and company goals.

Shift Information:

  • Day Shift: Mon - Thur 7am - 3.30pm & Fri 7.10am - 12.45pm €13ph
  • Evening Shift: Mon - Thur 3.30pm - 12am & Fri 12.35pm - 6.10pm (20% Premium) €15.60ph
  • Night Shift: Mon - Thur 12am - 7am & Sun 8pm - 7am (33% Premium) €17.29ph
  • Weekend Days: Sat & Sun 6am - 6pm (20% Premium) €15.60ph
  • Weekend Nights: Fri & Sat 6pm - 6am (33% Premium) €17.29ph
  • ProX Line - this is a unique line at TE. These shift patterns mean you will be working alternating 3 day and 4 day weeks allowing more time off! On all Week Bs  below you will receive 9 hours @ a rate of time and a half (overtime). As a Product Builder on the ProX line, you will be working in the robotics area with automated equipment, This is an excellent area to apply for if you are interested in progressing up the technical route with TE Connectivity. 
  • Pro X Days 1 is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and every second Sunday (day shifts are 06:00 – 18:00) €14.30ph
  • Pro X Days 2 is Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every second Sunday (day shifts are 06:00 – 18:00)  €14.30ph
  • ProX Nights 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every second Saturday (night shifts are 18:00-06:00) €17.29ph
  • ProX Nights 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every second Saturday (night shifts are 18:00-06:00) €17.29ph

Job Responsibilities (1/2)

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Consistently meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to handle small and fragile products.
  • Inspection of product at various steps of the assembly process.
  • Assembling medical devices, quality checks, as and when required.
  • Maximise output by operating efficiently and minimising waste.
  • Be innovative in line with lean thinking and process excellence.
  • Use computerized equipment and or machinery to perform relevant duties.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and Health & Safety standards.
  • Demonstrate a quality culture within the team, ensuring that procedures and work methods for the area are accurate and fully complied to.

Job Responsibilities (2/2)

  • Willing to be flexible and open to learning, and training in new processes.
  • Be open, honest and flexible within and across the team.
  • Training new Product Builders as and when required.
  • Support the development of improved/new products and processes.
  • Support with overtime as requested by the business.
  • Working as part of a team to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Collaborating with functions such as Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.
  • All other duties as assigned by your Production Supervisor or Line Lead.

Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • High level of dexterity and attention to detail is essential.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in the Medical Device industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An understanding of lean manufacturing practices is a distinct advantage
  • The ability to work in a highly technical, challenging and changing environment.
  • Good technical aptitude and an ability to learn processes quickly.
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative.
  • Previous experience in a target driven environment is an advantage.
  • Computer literacy is an advantage.
  • Have proven time keeping and attendance record.
  • Be willing to work as part of a team.
