Job Description

•    Prepare and maintain records, reports, and formulate correspondence relative to the job
•    Identify the training and development needs of company staff, and ensure that the needs are met
•    Inspect machinery used in the workplace in a bid to find out possible unsafe conditions
•    Be regularly aware of new developments in safety laws that are bound to have effect on the organization
•    Regularly provide training and coaching across all staff levels as required by the government’s safety rules and regulations
•    Make sure that new employees are well-informed as regards safety instructions before they start work, and emphasize and explain any form of possible EHS hazard, including applicable precautions
•    Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace
•    Advising employees on how to minimize or ultimately avoid risks and hazards in the workplace
•    Respond to any safety complaints and concerns raised by employees.
•    Conduct frequent safety inspections and checks

Work Description

- Management of documents required by the Safety and Health Act
- TE EHS requirements document management
- Identification of machinery and equipment subject to safety inspection
- Periodic safety inspection of machinery and equipment
- Periodic legal updates
- Internal application of changes
- Conducting legal safety and health training
- Provide risk assessment training
- Periodic risk assessment updates
- Safety patrol
- Supplier safety inspection
