Supply Chain Planning Manager

Job Overview

As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will lead the Planning team and manage the Planning process for TE Medical’s Metals business unit. You will implement production planning techniques, drive cost improvements, and develop SAP supply chain functionality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve the S&OP process.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manage and develop the Planning team.
  • Ensure effective production and inventory strategies.
  • Champion continuous process improvement.
  • Develop policies and procedures for Production Planning.
  • Manage inventory to support production strategies.
  • Analyze and respond to backorders.
  • Present plans to management and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with New Product Development teams.
  • Develop production plans with Production to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain production planning reports and documents.
  • Support Management with ad-hoc reports and presentations.

What your background should look like:

Qualifications

  • Level 8 degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Preferred: APICS CPIM certification.
  • Advantageous: Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in Demand Management, Master Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Material Requirements Planning, and inventory control.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in a Medical Device environment is desirable.
  • Essential: Strong working knowledge of SAP supply chain functionality.
  • Advantageous: Knowledge of SAP IBP Demand and Supply modules.
  • Proven track record in driving change and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates leadership and ambition.
