MATERIALS PLANNING ANALYST I

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

  • - Work closely with Operations team to ensure workload demand aligns with Distribution Center capacity and shipments are sent on the PGI requested in SAP.
  • - Perform daily cycle count activities in coordination with operations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • - Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • - Maintain distribution files for shipments to customers.
  • - Prepare reports and records on departmental and DC activities for management.
  • - Maintain Bills of lading and ship to records management every two weeks.
  • - Audit and make changes/corrections to new shipping orders as necessary.
  • - Make decisions that can affect product quality.
  • - Address internal and external customer requests through email and phone.
  • - Assist other departments as needed.
  • - Complete any assigned TEOA tasks such as LPAs.

What your background should look like:

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service.
  • Experience in SAP transactions.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a distribution center environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
  • Experience in developing KPI reports.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Experience working in automotive distribution industry.
  • Forklift/Pallet jack experience a plus.
  • Type minimum or 45 word per minute.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $35,360 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
