Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience performing cost accounting, finance analysis (FP&A) and good understanding in workflow process in a manufacturing company.
  • Strong accounting processes, analytical experience, skills
  • Good in knowledge of control and process flow

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Finance team members to support and ensure accounting processes are efficient and in compliance with Company policy, US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX). 
  • Provide quarterly review & audit schedules and support for external and internal audits. 
  • Ensure to deliver the right data and closely cooperate with legal entity controller for statutory earnings statement.
  • Perform deep drive analysis in process assigned by manager and working to find solutions for improvement.
  • Special projects and ad hoc account analysis as necessary; and 
  • Provide service and support in terms of analysis and numbers for all the departments and all reasonable needs, e.g. conversion cost, productivity, or TEOA
  • Other accounting and finance duties as assigned by Manager.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance (Internal or External audit background would be preferable) 
  • Prior experience in operations finance and accounting within a manufacturing plant (Global company experience a plus) 
  • Progressive management experience leading a finance organization. 
  • Cost accounting experience preferred. 
  • Strong computer skills: Very strong SAP manufacturing experience in a large mfg. site is a must, Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Data warehouses.
  • Good in English communication skills.
