Position Overview:     

This position will support IT services for the Industrial Hermosillo Bussiness Unit, to comply the actual and future projects running locally. This position aligns to TEIS and indirectly to the BU management to fulfil corporate requirements and creates standard solution and accomplish local requirements specific from the Business. This position is key for our Digital Factory development.

 

 

Responsibilities & Qualifications:  This section should include the following information, which enhances the summary in the overview:

Supports hardware installation and configuration and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. May monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation. Monitors batch schedules and takes actions as necessary in response to schedule problems or abnormal program terminations. Manages tape backups including physical tape handling.  Responsibilities may also include cabling, racking and server installations.  Coordinates, diagnoses and troubleshoots employee issues with personal computers and related systems. Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. Develops, documents, and implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support. Participation on Production and Digital Factory Projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of Information Technologies positions experience.
  • Project management knowledge and background in handling multiple projects at same time.
  • Strong analytical & negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and intercultural skills, ability to adapt and work with team members in various countries / cultures
  • Able to negotiate with key internal stakeholders as well as management team

Job Overview

TE’s IT Operations Teams provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. They develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support. At times they may monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation, cabling, racking, and server installations.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

IT Technical degree 

Experience at least of 5 years on IT support area mainly dealing with business required activities and customers oriented

Required experience working and supporting International companies. 

Required  knowledge degree to Microsoft tools such as Windows 7-10, Office 365,  Outlook, Skype for business as well as experience using ServiceNow.     

Required proficiency in English.
