Prozess Engineer Metallization (m/f/d)

your main tasks:

  • Optimizing existing and developing new processes in the metallization production area of sensor production, in particular electron-beam physical vapor deposition on 4" and 6" wafers.
  • Procurement of new systems as part of investment projects with associated project management including specification and commissioning of the systems
  • Conception and implementation of control procedures for systems and processes (SPC)
  • Independent monitoring and evaluation of process and system data as well as the locking and unlocking of systems and processes
  • Planning and carrying out tests to continuously improve processes in terms of stability, yield, throughput times and costs
  • Definition, specification and qualification of production materials and auxiliary materials

your profile:

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, microsystems technology, nanotechnology, physics or a comparable technical course
  • Knowledge and practical experience in semiconductor technology and industrial manufacturing. Experience in PVD processes.
  • Knowledge of project management and Six Sigma methods such as MSA, FMEA and DOE are advantageous
  • Experience in data processing and data analysis, preferably with the ability to script or program (JMP, R, Python or VBA) is a plus
  • Structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
  • Confident appearance and responsible actions
  • Good team and communication skills in German and English
