Job Overview

As part of our sustainability journey, we are looking for a Sustainability Project Manager to lead projects related to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) etc.

The Sustainability Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and executing sustainability projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in sustainability practices and standards, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholder.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and manage sustainability projects with a focus on CSRD, CBAM, LCA, and PCF, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
  • Develop and implement project plans, including milestones, resources needed, and budget forecasts
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather data, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with sustainability regulations and standards
  • Drive the integration of sustainability into business processes and decision-making, including the development of sustainability reports and disclosures
  • Coordinate with supply chain, engineering/product management, and procurement departments to assess and reduce carbon emissions across the product lifecycle, aligning with CBAM and LCA methodologies
  • Drive the implementation of sustainability initiatives to achieve the TE Sustainability goals

What your background should look like:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in sustainability or environmental management projects
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks, standards, and regulations, including CSRD, CBAM, LCA, and PCF
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • English business fluent
  • Readiness to travel 10 – 25%
