Job Overview

The Sustainability Student Program aims to find young and motivated talent to drive sustainability activities at TE Connectivity. The Sustainability Team is part of TE Connectivity's Environmental, Health and Safety Team, which is responsible for, among other things, ensuring and monitoring environmental issues. With an internship in our sustainability team, you will support us in developing market-leading solutions for various sustainability issues and goals, considering key ESG opportunities and risks. Starting February 2024, we are looking for energetic support in our sustainability team, at our location in Bensheim, Hessen, as an intern for 6 months.

Long Description

  • Support in the development and implementation of the sustainability strategy
  • Support in CO2 balancing in accordance with the GHG Protocol
  • Support in the preparation and coordination of sustainability reporting based on recognized standards
  • Analysis of structures, areas and processes with regard to social, ecological and economic aspects
  • Support in the implementation of sustainability standards
  • Contributing to and implementing sustainability communication at the various sites in Germany
  • Sensitizing colleagues to the topic of sustainability, generating enthusiasm for it and making it more present in everyday life
  • Research activities on sustainability management and reporting topics
  • Supporting project management and project control in the area of ESG data procurement at national and European level
  • Earliest starting date in June 2024 - for 6 months

 

 

What your background should look like:

  • Currently in higher education preferably with a technical / business / science background or a similar degree with a focus on sustainability management.
  • Strong in project-oriented collaboration and team communication
  • Responsible, independent and pragmatic thinking and acting
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn new topics
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills combined with an eye for good presentations
  • Excellent Excel skills, SAP and others are an advantage
  • Very good English and German skills
