TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.
Required Education
Advanced university studies in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Required Experience
At least 5 years in a similar position within the energy or industrial sector.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- In-depth understanding of the energy market: utilities, contractors, and distribution channels.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and deal closing.
- Full knowledge of the business unit's product portfolio.
- Experience using Salesforce (CRM).
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation tools.
Professional Competencies
- Ability to deliver technical and commercial presentations to clients and senior management.
- Strong technical expertise in electrical products.
- Effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and keep all opportunities in the assigned territory up to date in the system (SFDC), ensuring they are properly tracked and driven to successful closure.
- Identify and communicate product technology and customer acquisition process trends to Sales Management, Product Managers, and Engineering teams.
- Support the finance team in managing accounts receivable to prevent negative financial impact.
- Develop and execute growth strategies for strategic accounts and product line roadmaps.
- Introduce new products to the market.
- Deliver technical and commercial product presentations to clients.
- Must be able to travel 50% to 70% of the time.
- Responsible for business development in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- MBA.
- Advanced English certification.
