O365/Exchange Admin

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s IT Software and Systems Administration Teams support mainframe, Unix, Linux, and Windows based servers. This includes installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance and backup/recovery of physical and virtual servers. They monitor servers for performance and availability, and works with customers and vendors to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. TE’s IT Software and Systems Administration Teams analyze application requirements and recommend appropriate hardware configuration to meet requirements, install, configure, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot technical systems software such as middleware, portal, e-mail, collaboration, unified communications, systems monitoring, trouble ticketing, software distribution, etc. They also evaluate new products, upgrade features and recommend toolset selection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for management of a blended online Exchange platform containing approximately 25 servers and an O365 environment for users located in EMEA, Americas and APAC
  • Responsible for innovation and automation in the Exchange/Office 365 area and admin tools
  • Architect and Implement broad base Collaboration solutions on platforms including, but not limited to Exchange Server versions 2013/2016/2019 as well as Exchange Online and general Office 365)
  • Plan, lead and execute Exchange/O365 Administration activities in a large multi component virtualized farm
  • Ability to architect, develop and support Exchange/O365 Administration utilities via PowerShell
  • Plan and lead technical implementations of major Exchange/O365 projects
  • Participate and own Exchange/O365 platform incidents in SNOW from onset to resolution including P1/P2 and RCA/CAP
  • Provide technical training and mentoring to other professional employees including but not limited to Knowledge Base articles and other user facing collateral and Service Desk
  • Create and maintain comprehensive build configuration/ server runbook documentation
  • Please note that in this role working hours will include also afternoon and night shifts and for these additionally we offer late and night shift allowance 

What your background should look like:

  • Min. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Min 3 years of working experience as an Exchange Administrator
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong Collaboration Skills
  • Strong sys admin troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Exchange/O365 security compliance topics like EOP, ATP and DLP spaces
  • Relevant IT certifications will be a plus: ITIL, PMP, MCTS and MCITP for Exchange/O365 configurations
  • Fluent English skills
