Job Overview
  • Segment the Kissling supply base to identify the proper TE classification & subsequent strategy to Grow, Maintain or Exit.
  • Anticipate and drive solutions for NPI supply requirements using technical expertise, internal coordination, and clear external communications
  • Identify potential strategic suppliers in Kissling’s existing supply base that can be leveraged to improve our existing supply base
  • Collaborate with the ICT Integrated Supply Chain team to support achieving Key Performance Indicators
  • Lead the roll out of TE’s KPIs & TEOA-P to the Kissling supply base (delivery, quality, productivity, inventory reduction, VMI programs).
  • Identify VA/VE activities with engineering, quality and suppliers to achieve cost reductions and quality improvements.
  • Engage with NPI teams to ensure suppliers are in place to support business requirements
  • Conduct tooling capacity analysis on new products to ensure the supplier’s production proposition can meet demand requirements
  • Lead all supply base activities for key projects and ensure actions from support functions are completed on time
  • Assure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely and complete responses to various corporate, segment, business unit and functional support requirements
  • Foster an environment of open collaboration with all functions of ICT as may be required to advance operational and integrated supply chain performance improvements. Actively and openly provide feedback (including constructive push-back) on Operations functional direction and action plans.
What your background should look like:
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain.  Masters is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience
  • Demonstrate track record that demonstrates ability to achieve desired results
  • Strong people & organizational leadership skills: Person of true convictions; willing to stand up for those convictions; Able to communicate, reinforce and coach/counsel others on those convictions; unafraid of change / improvement
  • Business acumen, strong communication and negotiation skills, Leadership, creative, presentation skills, patient, influencing skills, Results driven, action oriented, comfortable with ambiguity,
  • Travel up to 10% of time.
  • Fluent in English, German a plus
  • SAP experience a plus.
