Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of product managers owning the complete HV connector portfolio for EMEA
  • Identification of Market trends, as well as coordination of benchmarking activities 
  • Define next generation of HV Connectors for EMEA customers
  • Portfolio gaps identification, definition of Product roadmaps to support the growth goals for E-mobility in EMEA and globally
  • Market analysis to identify key OEM, and Tier 1s requirements for next generation HV connectors
  • Collaboration with the sales teams in the region to define the right account strategies for this product group
  • Collaboration with Engineering departments to make sure product innovation and differentiation 
  • Responsible to set up the right marketing activities in EMEA to support revenue growth
  • Definition of strategic plan for next 5 years within the product group
  • Support Sales on new project acquisition
  • Full responsibility on the product line profitability as well as growth
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure right production capacity as well as upcoming needed technologies
  • Support TE presence at Trade Shows 
  • Organize and support technical workshops at customers to introduce TE USPs and generate new opportunities

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent; MBA highly preferred 
  • 10 years+ of automotive experience in Business development, Product Management or Sales
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive network, PAC process, S&OP process and CAPEX planning process
  • Solid knowledge of automotive Operations / Manufacturing processes
  • Excellent technical knowledge of the TE Automotive product portfolio
  • Solid financial acumen
  • Proven track record / managerial courage 
  • Strong automotive market knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Leadership experience in cross functional team
  • Self-direction and motivation
  • Ability to attract, motivate and develop small high performing teams
  • Excellent in communication / collaboration & presentation
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong escalation / conflict management skills 
  • Able to drive decisions / results orientated 
  • Fluent in English and German both written and spoken 
  • The role will require international travel
