Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

What your background should look like:

  • Regional responsibility for a customer with a focus on sales growth
  • Opening up new business areas and increasing customer satisfaction
  • Responsibility for the complete sales cycle from the preparation of the offer to the conclusion of the contract
  • Supervision of the current series business (annual price negotiations, change management, customer requests, etc.)
  • Supporting business processes with the customer on a global level
  • Identification and evaluation of new business opportunities and expansion of the existing product portfolio
  • Definition of future-oriented sales strategies to achieve goals
  • Pricing of existing business with a particular focus on increasing profitability

your profile:

  • Engineer with a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering;
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Sales & Marketing, specifically in automotive would be a plus
  • Knowledge of trends, competitors and technologies that influence products and sales results
  • Outstanding analytical skills, strategic and tactical thinking and a solution-oriented approach method
  • Ability to build successful working relationships with different parts of the organization across all hierarchical levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic and international matrix organization
  • Hands on mentality
  • Very good knowledge of using the Microsoft Office package; SAP knowledge desirable.
  • Fluent language skills (oral and written) English and German is required 
  • The position requires regular business trips
