Job Overview

The Account Manager (m/f/d) manages and controls all sales activities for their account (in this case the customer BMW). The main objective is to maximize business opportunities and ensure TE is in the best position to grow and improve return on sales.

your main tasks:

  • Act as Account Manager regionally; responsible for profitable sales growth, reviewing new business opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Review customer contracts and coordinate with the legal department
  • Responsible for providing all relevant information / data for the internal S & OP process
  • Full responsibility for project execution (Gates 1-6); both internal and external
  • Responsible for the implementation of regional annual growth plans and the definition of account specific regional tactics.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and manage and deliver new product streams.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and executing the evolution of products to meet the specific needs of the customer.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Communicate regional results (monthly billing review, monthly ongoing forecast and market project highlights)
  • Identify application areas where TE does not have a dominant position and define account responsibilities and product requirements.
  • Be responsible for preparing financial justifications, presentations and proposals as well as negotiating for specific projects and pricing of existing business with particular focus on profitability and contracting with customers.
  • Ensure TE is perceived by the customer as the key supplier of choice.

What you should bring to the position:

  • (Completed) degree in economics, commercial, industrial or industrial engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in sales with the customer BMW is mandatory
  • Fluency in German and English is essential
  • Willingness to travel
  • Driving license class B
