QUALITY ANALYST II

Job Overview

The Aerospace, Defense and Marine (Aerospace, Defense and Marine or AD&M) business unit of TE is part of the Industrial Solutions segment (Industrial Solutions) and is a world leader in the design of components and electrical interconnection solutions that are used for applications in extreme and rigorous environments. These interconnection solutions make possible applications of avionics, jet and propulsion engine management, flight controls, grounding systems and on-board entertainment for today's "connected aircraft". This capability is extended to military, marine, aviation, space, land and drone vehicles, as well as oil and gas exploration of open-ocean deposits. TE offers solutions for enhanced connectivity that work and resist in the most extreme environments on Earth, from the deepest oceans to the ends of space. 

TE ADM business has significant presence in India and envisages to move up the value chain to deliver solutions to our customers at the system level. This requires ADM team in India to collaborate across full eco system from research institute to start ups, Industries bodies, other electronic companies, and suppliers. Also, being in Bangalore offers opportunity for ADM to leverage the strong, vibrant innovation and start up eco system to build new technologies and solutions. 

Responsibilities:

1.    Prepares and maintains the following:
a.    Company Quality Manual in line with Corporate QMS requirements 
b.    ISO 9001 & AS 9100 Manual International requirements
2.    Other quality documents and other customer and military-directed documents as required.
3.    Training subordinates & inspectors on company standards  
4.    Interfaces and coordinates all matters concerned with military qualified product.
5.    Coordinates & supervises all calibration activities across all VSM’s.
6.    Works to coordinate within the team for KPI / Quality Score card reporting in the share point. 
7.    Coordinates within Quality team and report monthly metrics of Quality & QMS 
8.    Perform Behavioral based Quality audits & Layered process audits across the production in all VSM’s 
9.    Planning & execution of External Audits form Customer & other regulatory bodies
10.    Prepare & present the status of Monthly QMS L-3 Action deployment to Corporate QMS team.
11.    Support & work with Plant MR for planning & execution of Internal & external Audits & Management Review meeting 
12.    Monitor & reports the Performance of additional internal/external audits as deemed appropriate.

Desired Candidate Details:

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    Graduate Engineer (Mechanical /Electrical /Electronics) or Equivalent

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

•    7-9 years experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management system and Control
•    Basic knowledge about Product and Customer requirement
•    SPC, Six sigma (GB), quality tools & quality management system.
•    Influencing changes

COMPETENCIES
•    Knowledge in Production processes.
•    Stake holder management (Internal and External.
•    Knowledge on Quality & its basic tools
•    Calibration techniques 
•    Knowledge in Internal Auditing with certification 
•    Knowledge on Assembly Tooling. 
•    Good knowledge of soft skills (MS Excel, PPT & ERP)
