Tender Support Engineer

Tasks and Reponsibilities

• Assist in the gathering and compilation of necessary documents for tender submission.
• Prepare tender documents, ensure compliance with all customer requirements and technical data sheets.
• Work with the Sales, Product Manager and Specialist to collect all information for proposal content and meet current and future customer requirements.
• Manage and organize the tendering documentation, maintaining accurate records for reference and audit purposes.
• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking.
• Attend customer meetings and support sales of winning business. 
• Manage price request and approval process.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely responses and deliverables required for the tender process.
• Conduct research and analysis on prospective opportunities and market trends to support tender strategies, prepare reports on sales history and gross margin analysis.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, subcontractors, and partners involved in the tendering process.

What your background should look like:

• Bachelor's degree in engineer, Electrical is preferably.
• Previous experience (Min 10 years) in a similar tendering support or administrative role, preferably within [cable accessories, electrical substations, electrical overhead line network, electrical utility].
• Brief knowledge of electrical system and major equipment, like transformers, switchgear, cables, overhead distribution and transmission system
• Knowledge of tendering processes, regulations, and best practices in MEA
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic, 
• Knowledge of relevant tools and applications like, SAP, Ecommerce, Sales force.
