Job Overview

TE Connectivity's HR Generalist Teams function in a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


Main Responsibilities:

Talent Management:

  • Partner with HR Team and Business Leaders to acquire talent through a recruiting strategy that focuses on developing a strong pipeline; attracting the right skills and diversity.  
    • Train managers on the recruiting system and support them in creation of role descriptions, perform basic pre-screening and scheduling of face to face interviews.  In addition, background screenings and generating offer letters.
    • Manage the Recruiting Dashboard/File and maintaining the data integrity.
  • Development and facilitating an onboarding plan for new talent joining our organization.
  • Participate and support University Relations recruiting efforts.
  • Drive efficiencies through continuous improvement, thus shortening our Time to Fill times.

Employee Engagement:

  • Coordinate Employee Engagement Surveys and partner with HRBP/managers to develop meaningful action plans and measure the impact against those actions.


  • Support the HR team in coordinating multiple incentive plans ensuring plans are completed and updated in the system on time.
  • Coordinate with HR shared services teams in various countries on compensation and benefits management, including salary surveys and industry benchmarking, and payroll and salary administration.
  • Coach and partner with managers on driving a pay for performance culture.
  • Perform general comp analysis of employee’s salary against market and total cash compensation.

Data Analytics/Dashboards

  • Maintain several key HR Dashboards, ensuring timely completion and data integrity.
  • Run basic HR Analytics report ranging from headcount reports, training completion reports, and performance management dashboards.
  • Provide America’s Region’s data to Global HR Team; responding to requests on headcount, training, and general requests for data pertaining to our region.


  • Support Employees and the HR team in submitting general HR inquiries through our HR portal.
  • Coordinate with our Immigration Attorney and employee on timely filings of work authorization requests.  This also includes job analysis support and data gathering.
  • Support HRBP’s with employee relations, which may include investigations.


 Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:

  • Bachelors in Human Resources or Business
  • 3+ years of progressive HR generalist experience
  • Preferably have experience in a large multi-national business environment
  • Broad range of expertise within HR spanning employee relations, staffing, compensation & benefits and coaching employees
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) with ability to present confidently in front of employees and leaders
  • Ability to execute, work and create momentum for change within a cross functional, geographically diverse team
  • Prior experience with an HRIS (preferably SAP) and recruiting system (preferably Success Factors)
  • Strong Excel/PPT Skills
